SAUDI PREINSULATED PIPES INDUSTRIES (SPPI)

SAUDI PREINSULATED PIPES INDUSTRIES (SPPI), a 100% Saudi-owned Limited Liability Company, was established in 1981 and started production in 1983. SPPI is an ISO 9001:2000-certified company with Quality System certified through UKAS of United Kingdom. Our manufacturing facility is located in the Riyadh New Industrial City.

Preinsulated Piping Systems

The core of the operation, this division produces complete preinsulated piping systems for chilled & hot water, steam, gas and other energy related applications. The product consists of a carrier pipe, insulation and jacket pipe. The carrier and jacket pipes are available in a variety of sizes and materials, as well as different insulation thickness and types. SPPI manufacture, supply and service all the system components such as preinsulated fittings, valves, expansion joints or loops, anchors, etc.

Custom Fabrication and Pipe Protection

Our facility is equipped to handle steel pipe fabrication which include pipe cutting, grooving, threading, beveling and welding to accommodate specific job requirements. All the above mentioned services are performed by certified technicians in accordance with the requirements of Section IX of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel code and ASME B31.1, and undergo the required tests such as hydrostatic pressure testing and radiographic inspection.

SPPI offers complete pipe protection services consisting of Shot/Grit Blasting internally and externally to International Standards in an enclosed shop. Airless spray epoxy coatings are applied per the project’s specifications. We also provide external automatic pipe wrapping.

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipes

SPPI has started its production of HDPE pipes in 1998. The SPPI HDPE pipes are being used as a jacket for the company’s preinsulated piping systems, as well as other applications, with pipe sizes upto 1200mm outer diameter. Larger pipe sizes could be supplied upon request. SPPI HDPE production facility is located next to our existing facility in Riyadh New Industrial City.
